There are no extra fees at ports for passengers. For vehicles, all taxes are included. You may pay an additional fee for the delivery order document you will receive upon entry and the "Abroad Exit Fee" required when leaving Syria.

If you are a Syrian citizen and want to travel to Syria from Turkey, the required documents are:

• Syrian passport: Must be valid.
• Visa to enter Turkey: Syrian citizens need a visa to enter Türkiye. You can get this from the Turkish embassy or consulate in Mersin. If you have a valid residence permit or a valid Schengen visa in Türkiye, you can enter based on these documents. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months as there may be additional requirements depending on the port or shipping company.
